History

Founded in 2016, Titan Tube & Metal has quickly expanded across Canada and the United States to become one of the leading pipe, tubing and casing suppliers in North America. We are a proud member of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors (NASPD).

2016

Founded in 2016 by Bert Cohen and Kevin Morgan in Ontario, Canada. Titan’s first yard location opened in Smithville, Ontario followed shortly by yards in Camrose and Calgary, Alberta.

2017

Titan Tube & Metal expanded operations south of the border into the United States, opening another yard location in Little Rock, Arkansas to handle USA-made mill downgrades.

2018

Titan Tube & Metal expanded its operations to Montreal, Quebec. Titan continues to expand across Canada and the United States, offering diverse inventory and quick delivery times.

Bert Cohen – President and Co-Founder

Bert Cohen has worked in the steel industry for over 65 years. As a teen, he worked with his family in scrap yards in Montreal. By the age of 18, Bert’s passion for sales led him to top salesman in excess prime and secondary steel sales. In his twenties, he founded his own steel distribution business. After various acquisitions, Bert held roles including Sales Manager, VP, Executive VP, President and CEO at some of North America’s largest steel companies. Bert later opened a steel trading company and offered consulting services around how to build steel mills and more. In 2017, Bert co-founded Titan Tube & Metal Inc. with Kevin Morgan where he serves as President.

Kevin Morgan – Vice President and Co-Founder

Kevin Morgan started his career in sales with Waste Management Inc. Based on his passion for industrial services and recycling he founded the waste company Effective Waste Management. After selling his business in 1999, he turned his attention to building a scrap metal company, K&K Recycling Services. K&K is a state-of-the-art North American scrap metal collection, recycling and processing company headquartered in Pickering, Ontario. Leveraging Kevin’s sources of supply and Bert’s relationships and expertise in pipe and piling, Titan Tube & Metal was founded and catapulted into success in the structural steel industry.

Danielle Morgan – General Manager

Danielle Morgan has been General Manager of Titan Tube & Metal Inc. for three years. Prior to her move to Titan, Danielle worked at K&K Recycling Services for several years as the General Manager for K&K’s Western Canada operations. Danielle’s experience overseeing projects and personnel in the scrap steel industry helped prepare her for a smooth transition into the pipe and tube industry. Danielle’s superior customer relationships have been a critical factor in Titan Tube and Metal’s success and expansion across North America.
