Mike Ellis
PRESIDENT

After studying Electrical Engineering at Colorado State University, Mike elected to join Pioneer Pipe in order to open a branch in Grand Junction, CO. In 1983, Mike moved to Denver, CO and worked in Sales and Procurement for the OCTG division. In 1989, Mike became the Branch Manager to the very first Pioneer Pipe office to be located in Houston, Texas. He transferred back to Denver in 1992 to serve as the purchasing and line pipe Sales Manager.

In 1995, Mike joined Russel Metals as their Vice President Commercial. Mike has seen sales growth of over 1200% at Russel Metals. He was responsible for all purchasing, sales and was deeply involved with operations.

Jerry Rogers
VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

Jerry attended the University of Missouri - Columbia and majored in Political Science. During the summer months, Jerry worked for the Missouri Pacific RR Company laying track and ties to help pay for his college tuition. After graduating MU in 1980, he moved to Houston, TX to pursue a career in sales. He found a job working for LB Foster Company; a major player in the steel distribution business. Jerry initially sold railroad products due to his background, but after a short 3 months was moved into the tubular group and transferred to Midland, TX.

After fourteen years with LB Foster Company and brief stints at two other companies, Jerry finally settled with Pioneer Pipe. Jerry was the Regional Sales Manager for the SW Region for over 16 years. His focus has always been customer satisfaction while retaining professionalism and a competitive edge when establishing client relationships.

Eben Paul
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS/FINANCE

Eben has over 10 years experience in high-pressure operational environments. Eben graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a degree in Finance. Shortly after graduation, he joined the capital markets arm of the Royal Bank of Canada, where he worked in structured finance. Eben has also served a consultant to the FDIC and from 2010 to 2012 served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras.

More recently, Eben worked at Oryx Oilfield Services, a Texas based oilfield construction company, as the Director of Operations. Eben and his team were responsible for the design and implementation of intelligent and sustainable growth policies. During his tenure at Oryx, Eben guided the company through increases in both staff and revenue by over three fold.
