Midstate Steel supplies the highest quality steel pipes for a multitude of uses and industries. Our stock includes a wide range of sizes, from small 1' pipe to large 48'pipe. We obtain our quality material from many industries, including the oil and gas industry, as well as construction companies and steel pipe mills. We are involved in the Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) distribution business. We can quote API casing, API drill pipe and API line pipe, both domestic and foreign.

Midstate Steel is also very active in the removing abandoned and used pipelines for salvage and structural use. We purchase these lines 'as-is, where-is.' We also purchase all reject tubing, drill pipe and line pipe for construction purposes. This provides us with an inventory of used pipe that can meet the individual requirements of many of our customers.

Jay L. Solansky -- President

Jay is the President and Founder of Midstate Steel Corporation, having established this company in 1987. His journey in the pipe industry started in 1980, therefore he has acquired 30 years of experience and knowledge.

He is extremely active in the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors, serving on the Board of Directors for a number of years and one term as Vice President. Today he resides in Midland, Texas, to be close to his three children. He enjoys a lot of travel, meeting new people and establishing new relationships.
