The 81-year old company, established in 1938 by a South Indian Chettiyar family, started off with operating in the steel trading business. Our founder, Ezhumalai Chettiyar began with a small trading firm under the name of his beloved wife, Vaduvammal.

 We are proud to be recognized as the first few authorised dealers in Madras (now Chennai) for Tata Steel and Hindustan Steel Limited (now SAIL) in the 50s when our business had just growing. We are an ISO 9001 certified company. We are also an active member of the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) and have been constantly researching and generating related portfolio of products and services. We have built a strong and reliable network of people across the globe, to whom we trade with the motto of inspiring trust.

With a very humble beginning in the by lanes of the heart of the Central Business District (CBD) Chennai, Parrys Corner, Vaduvammal has grown to become the preferred company that comes to the mind of our clients and vendors as their trade partners. We value our roots and respect the goodwill of the company by operating from the same 9x66 feet office space started off by our forefathers.
