For over 100 years Meuwly Machine Works located in Little Rock Arkansas, Has served customers from all over the nation. Some of our clients even over the the hundred years that we have been in business. Founded in the 1900's Meuwly Machine Works supplies Customers with General job shop machining, Large machinery repair, Fabrication, CNC machining Off-site line boring at your location, industrial machinery repair Construction and Oil and Gas equipment repair, and cut to size parts and raw materials. Our history included manufacturing parts for the Chicago Riveting machine and for 'The Big Inch Project' from 1942-1944 where the United States built petroleum pipelines extending from Texas to New Jersey as an emergency war measure to supply transportation from the oil fields of Texas to the North-Eastern states by tanker.

The Meuwly family immigrated to Arkansas from Switzerland in the 1880's

1914
Founding Days

Brothers Alexander and Pete Meuwly, both machinists, founded the company in Little Rock in 1914. One of the first machinists was Papa Frank Bittner.

1942
Big Inch Project

Meuwly Machine Works served the nation in WWII by manufacturing parts for the Chicago Riveting machine and for 'The Big Inch Project' From 1942-1944

Moved Locations

Meuwly Machine Works moved to the present location of 1901 E. 15th street, Little Rock in 1951.
