We are a family-run business, committed to our community, values, and making each piece in our original Bethesda workshop. Elijah's philosophy of design is simple: where nature ends, he begins. His life of world travelling has greatly influenced the art he creates; his multi-lingual explorations of art and culture from his home in Jerusalem throughout the Near East, India, Central America, Europe and North America, give him a rich and complex understanding of beauty, form and style. His expertise in diamonds and fine gems was acquired during his years as a diamond dealer in Antwerp and Toronto, and he brings this respect for the natural beauty of stones to every piece he creates. After seeing so much of the world, for the past three decades he has made the Washington area his home, where he raises a family and creates his art.

There is really no other word for Mr. Soo than 'Master'. Since we first opened our doors, Secrete has depended on Mr. Soo's precision and perfection in the art and science of making jewelry. Mr. Soo was born in Korea and has over 45 years of experience as a jewelry maker including years of work crafting fine jewelry in Japan. His work is unparalleled in its craftsmanship and artistry.
