OUR STORY

With over 30 years of experience Lani Nguyen has worked behind the scenes manufacturing jewelry for some of the top brand names in the world.

Valentina Diamonds is a range of jewelry in her own right, with all the style of celebrity glamour at an affordable price.

Born in Laos, South East Asia, Lani was forced to flee the country in the war torn Eighties, spending five years in a refugee camp in Thailand where she and her siblings learned how to make jewelry from a master jeweler who was also a refugee.

So outstanding was the quality of the work that it caught the interest of governors, Ambassadors and UN officials, who visited the camp to buy her designs – some being presented to the Thai Royal family.

After the war, the industrious family made their home in America where the business went from strength to strength.

At Lao Pride, the factory in Laos that manufactures Lani’s designs, more than 200 people have the jewelry industry to thank for giving them the chance to change their lives.
