Sylvester Sheet Metal Corporation is a 25 year old family owned, 50 person precision sheet metal fabricator, operating out of a company owned 32,000 square foot building, delivering on one of two 24 foot enclosed box trucks. Manufacturing aluminum, carbon and stainless steel cabinets, chassis, enclosures, as well as miscellaneous custom sheet metal parts and weldments.

Sylvester Sheet Metal Corporation employs a 'Visual Manufacturing' software system that enables online consumption of inventory, complete production scheduling, tracking capabilities through the use of bar coded operations control sheets and scanning stations located at various work stations in the shop.

Use of this computerized manufacturing system allows for constant monitoring of work flow from order entry to pack and ship. It also gives the ability to immediately identify part location and be proactive in customer communication regarding order status.
