Philippe Briest & Family: Our Story

My personal journey began when I came to the United States from my native France over 30 years ago. With a background in the hospitality industry, I worked in fine dining and luxury hotel management. This provided me with training in personal service at the very highest level and informed my commitment to client satisfaction.

But it was the love of fine timepieces and jewelry that became my lifelong passion. Prior to the opening of our Beverly Hills store, I developed a successful business importing, buying and selling luxury watches for select private clientele worldwide. This was more than just on-the-job training. This was my higher education in the manufacture of the world’s greatest timepieces, and the history, styles and trends that inform their design to this day. I share this passion for the incredible craftsmanship of fine watchmaking with my sons.

In 1995, we opened Philippe’s Watches in the heart of Beverly Hills, one block west of Rodeo Drive. Since that time, I have carefully developed a reputation for guiding clientele to the right luxury timepiece at the right price. Our family business has grown not from clever advertising and promotion, but from a simple and honorable commitment to client satisfaction, which has always led to repeat business and referrals. Many of our customers will proudly tell you they refuse to buy a watch from anyone else. We’re honored by their loyalty.

All our luxury timepieces are 100% authentic, in pristine, unworn condition, and we guarantee your satisfaction: If you are not entirely satisfied, return the purchased item within a 48-hour review period and we will refund your payment ('special order'/ watches not pictured on our site exempt from this policy). All of our new watches are covered by a two-year Philippe's Watches warranty.
