JEMELCO STARTS AS A FAMILY OWNED MACHINE TOOL REPAIR BUSINESS IN 1985.

Bud brought with him years of experience from working at his father’s business back east. Starting off working out of his garage, as many small businesses do, Jemelco steadily built up a loyal customer base. This is thanks to Bud’s extensive knowledge, focus on customer service and pride in workmanship.

ALONG THE WAY, JEMELCO ACQUIRES A SUCCESSFUL SMALL MACHINE SHOP.

This machine shop is a job shop focused on quality prototypes, small runs and quick turnaround. This part of the business also has a well-earned loyal customer base and is continually growing.

JEMELCO CONTINUES THE FAMILY LEGACY.

When it came time for Bud and Mary to retire, they left the business in the trusted hands of their daughter Kim Mellor and longtime employee Donald Ortiz. Kim brought with her extensive knowledge in business and finance and Donald brought with him years of experience in machining and the drive to bring us into the future.
