Certified Metal Products, Inc. specializes in precision metal spinning in the lighting, air filtration, electronic communication and other commercial industries. Having been in the metal spinning business since the 1960's and under the present ownership since 1990 shows our commitment to quality and our customers.

Metal spinning involves the forming of various metals into circular shapes, such as venturis, reflectors, air shrouds and aluminum tire rims using a rotating mandrel with the use of rigid tools or rollers. There are three basic types of spinning processes: conventional (manual), shear and tube spinning.

The equipment is basically similar to a lathe with various special features. Metal spinning has a distinct advantage over stamping for many applications, due to its economical use.
