Black Sheaf

Black Sheaf builds sheaves and custom sheaf forks to be used in training or competition. Sheaves are made in standard weights of 10,12,16, or 20 pounds, or custom weights upon request. Sheaf forks are 2 or 3 tine pitch forks, built to the customer's specification. Pick-up or delivery in the Las Vegas, NV area is free of charge. Lead filled steel encased weights and hammers added to products in 2017.

Mission

Our mission at Black Sheaf is to provide high quality equipment to the Scottish highland athletics event competitors and the organizations which hold festivals and competitions. Because I find design and fabrication of the equipment to be very enjoyable, and also seek to provide a service to the highland athletic community, Black Sheaf offers pricing which makes it a little easier on the athlete acquiring high quality equipment. Many athletes contribute by participating in their organizations, volunteering at the competitions, and more. This is my way of contributing! And perhaps surprising to many, there are a multitude of ways in which I have been able to apply my engineering background.
