The paper shipping sack and consumer bag industry has emerged into a billion dollar a year industry with shipments of over three billion sacks annually.Paper shipping sacks are used to package a wide variety of food, agricultural building material and industrial purpose products.

Mission Statement :

The Paper Shipping Sack Manufacturers’ Association (PSSMA) is the national trade association of U.S. producers of multiwall shipping sacks.  Its mission is to provide its member companies with programs and services which further the industry’s objectives and, in doing so, promote and enhance the welfare of the industry.

Services :

PSSMA provides extensive statistical services for its members, provides a legal forum for members to meet and discuss matters of importance to the industry and assists members in achieving industry-wide technical, marketing and educational objectives.  It offers for sale to members and the public several publications of interest to those involved in multiwall packaging.
