We are a commercial full service Heat Treating company located in Kansas City, MO. We work with our customers extensively to ensure the jobs are ran to their specifications!

Our dedication to our customers doesn’t end with heat treating. Whether you have a billing question, need to check on shipment status, or are looking for technical advice, our staff is here to help with rapid responses and sound solutions.

Started in 1956 by Layton Redman. Mr. Redman’s experience in the heat treat field was as a Master Blacksmith at Sheffield Steel. A Heat Treat Superintendent at Lake City Ammunitions Plant. He started as a Tool and Die heat treat shop in a 3000 sq foot plant with 3 employees.

Today's Superior Metal Treating operates 3 shifts with 28 employees in a 48,000 sq. foot modern plant!
