Steve & Dave Austin established Austin’s Iron Works in 1973. Steve has been a blacksmith for over 43 years, loves what he does and it shows in his works. Impressed by early blacksmiths, he set out to begin his blacksmith career who he says takes a milestone to achieve your technique. It took him 3-4 years to understand the language. He is impressed by early blacksmiths who had a great passion for what they did. To them, it wasn’t just a job. “Blacksmithing is a complicated craft, to be able to pull something out of a fire, forge it and create something beautiful is amazing.”
