Dorbin Metal was founded in 1939 as a small family business and has grown into a national supplier of quality weatherstripping products. We supply contractors, contractor supply companies, lumberyards and millworks with high-quality weatherstrips.

We are one of the top companies still roll forming bronze into various-shaped weatherstrips for long-lasting protection and weather sealing. Each custom order is cut to size from our large inventory and shipped to your desired destination.

We offer many different types of thresholds for residential and commercial use. Every item is cut to size and includes the necessary hardware for installation. This type of weatherstripping is very popular for wood doors and wood double hung windows. Metal weatherstrips are quite durable and can save money on energy costs. Our thresholds are made of the highest metals, and many of our brass thresholds can be colored to the client’s specification.

We use high-quality santoprene in our latch track thresholds, head and jam, and bumper style thresholds. Santoprene performs better in cold weather; unlike traditional vinyl, it remains soft and is much less likely to crack at extreme temperatures.

We also offer hand-assembled automatic door bottoms as well as a plethora of door sweeps and astragals. Many of our products are compatible with both wood doors and hollow metal doors.
