Youngs Machinery Service

My name is Wayne Young and I started Young's Machinery Service on January 1, 1984. In November 1978, I started my career as a service tech at Central West Machinery located in Addison, IL. Five years later, Central West Machinery went out of business and after they closed their doors, some of my loyal customers called me at my home to service their equipment.

After some consideration, I obtained insurance and a business license, loaded up my car with tools and began servicing my customers. That was 36 years ago and over the years I have increased by customer base. As well as servicing customers at their shops, I also own a small shop where I rebuild smaller equipment such as rollformers, foot shears, cleat benders, and more; I can also make parts if needed. With my growing business I traded in my car for a work van so I can carry small parts and supplies with me. So, if I need a 3/8” bolt, I can get one from my van instead of having to stop the job, find a hardware store and buy one. In my van, I try to keep stock of Lockformer open rolls, and Bujir parts for the shear.
