AGS offers services for a wide range of environmental, geological, and natural resource needs. The structure of AGS is such that we can provide access to a large body of diversified professional expertise, knowledge, and experience which would normally be available through a larger consulting firm with a much higher overhead.  Mining Services AGS provides comprehensive environmental, geological, and natural resource consulting services for the mining industry and mine-related projects. Our professionals have extensive experience with mine mine waste and tailings characterizations, mine hydrology, acid rock drainage, geotechnical investigations, and reclamation design.

We conduct geological surveys, mineral exploration studies, including surface and underground geologic mapping, mine evaluations, , geochemical sampling of all media, mineral property evaluations, and surveying. AGS has worked with a variety of private companies as well as several governmental agencies including the National Park Service, the Forest Service, the Bureau of Reclamation, and the Environmental Protection Agency. AGS specializes in Underground Storage Tank (UST) projects and petroleum impacted sites. We conduct environmental investigations and provide site remediation services, including remediation system design and engineering, geologic hazards evaluation, acid mine drainage studies, Environmental Impact Studies (EIS), and Environmental Assessments (EA). Sample Projects  Amplified Geochemical ImagingTM Technology Surveys AGS has extensive experience with Amplified Geochemical ImagingTM Technology Surveys which detect organic and inorganic vapors from a variety of contaminant sources in soil gas, water, air and sediment. AGS has installed over 30,000 AGI Samplers on numerous survey projects located worldwide.  Geographic Information Systems Our experienced staff of geospatial technology professionals offer a full spectrum of geographic information services, including GIS database development, data management, interpretation and integration, GPS field data collection and post-processing, and statistical analysis and modeling.
