Natural Resources Consulting Engineers (NRCE) provides state of the art engineering consulting services in civil, water resources, agricultural, and environmental disciplines. Our clients include government agencies, water utilities, irrigation districts, judiciary systems, communities, tribal councils, attorneys, and other engineering firms throughout the western United States. Outside the U.S., NRCE’s experts have worked in over two dozen countries.  NRCE is engaged in all levels of project development, management, and design, from data collection to construction management. All services are customized to accommodate client demands from appraisal-level feasibility studies to detailed engineering design reports, investigations, expert witness testimony, and project management oversight. NRCE has a successful history in working on high profile and complicated projects involving diverse regional and local interests. The staff includes highly reputable and credible water and irrigation specialists with a wealth of professional experience. Likewise, the irrigation engineering staff is one of the largest and most experienced in the western United States, with projects involving practicably irrigable acreage studies, irrigation system design, conveyance system design, pipeline design, storage system design, crop suitability studies, evapotranspiration (ET) determination for crops, water conservation and management, irrigation on-farm efficiency analyses, and beneficial use estimates.  NRCE provides a full range of Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) and Geographic Information System (GIS) services to produce professional plans, maps, and decision support information. NRCE’s software library contains both specially-developed and commercial computer modeling programs. Services are available for hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, hydrographic data collection, topographic surveying, geomorphic studies, analysis, engineering, and design and consulting services.  Recently, NRCE was awarded a contract as a small business prime contractor under the USAID funded Water and Development Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (WADI IDIQ). The main objectives of the IDIQ are to: improve health outcomes through the provision of sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); and manage water in agriculture sustainably and more productively to enhance food security. Tasks under this contract include providing worldwide, cross-cutting services in the water sector, including Data Collection and Management; Assessment and Analysis; Strategic Planning and Program Design; Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening; Policy, Legal, Regulatory and Institutional Program Support; and Performance Monitoring and Evaluation.
