Westfield Grinding Wheel Company

135 Apremont Way, PO Box 798, Westfield, Massachusetts, United States | Steel/Iron

Westfield Grinding Wheel Company was established and incorporated in 1923 by George L. Gaylord and Richard N. Gaylord, Sr., both of whom had worked at the Vitrified Wheel Company for many years before deciding to start their own grinding wheel company. We manufacture private label cut off and precision grinding wheels at our facility in Westfield, Massachusetts, and have been at our present location since 1964.

We have recently completed the third building addition to our plant. These additions give us the required manufacturing area needed to satisfy the increased demand for our products, space for our modern manufacturing equipment, and room for future technological improvements in the manufacturing process. Because we manufacture everything in house, we offer faster turnaround times than other companies.

Complementing our wheel manufacturing abilities, Westfield Grinding Wheel Company also represents the Desmond-Stephan MFG. Co. in New England by carrying their complete line of abrasive dressing tools. Products include precision dressers and cutters, hand tools, diamond nibs, cones, chisels, and cluster nibs.
