Gordon Geotechnical Engineering, Inc. (G2) is a geotechnical engineering firm providing services throughout the intermountain area with experience extending back more than 40 years.  We possess the local knowledge and experience to provide the highest quality engineering with unsurpassed customer service. G2 focuses on geotechnical and geological engineering allowing the client to receive expert service within the desired field. Our office was opened in November of 2011 and is rapidly expanding.

Our Company including preliminary site feasibility studies as part of due diligence to detailed geotechnical studies (including field exploration and laboratory testing), foundation design, slope stability and retaining structures, landslide control, seismic analysis, dam design and safety, groundwater analysis, and problematic soils.

Our Company  and Hazard Assessment including geology, geologic mapping, earthquake fault studies, liquefaction potential, seismic hazard studies, rockfall hazards, landslide analysis, and slope stability.G2 has provided geotechnical consulting services for the numerous expansions to the Huntsman Cancer Hospital.  Extensive shoring design was required to allow for the deep cuts into the shallow and fractured bedroc
