Sador Aluminum Technics Plc is company re-established in middle of 2001 in Ethiopian Calendar (Eth.C) by groups of experienced engineers who were having higher posts and responsibilities in different companies like Quality Head & Sales Managers In Ethio Iran Aluminum Extrusion and also Project Coordinator in Ethiopian Airlines (with B.Sc Industrial Engineering). Sales Division Head in Dan Technocraft, (with B.Sc in Industrial Engineering). Lecturer at Addis Ababa & Bahirdar University (with PH.D in Industrial Engineering), Production manager (with B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering), Installation Manager (Diploma In G.M) in Trakon Aluminum, Asal Aluminum and Pasqua Giuseppe Aluminum.

The company with its dynamic move has got a major market share since 2008 Eth.C Out of the country’s total aluminum import of 11,500 Tone, Sador aluminum shared 2,100 Tone which is 20% of the country’s demand of last year.

Ownership and Establishment

SADOR Aluminum Technics PLC was established under private limited company in 2001 Eth.C with paid up capital of Birr 200,000.00. In 2006 Eth.C. the company has upgraded with paid up capital of Birr 7,781,000.00 (Seven Million Seven Hundred Eighty-One Thousand Birr). – – 87.5% of the company belongs to the founder and general manager of the company. By now the company has changed a lot and is in a big move to plant a factory.

The company, with its plan to substitute import, has owned 70,000 sq.mt land and is building aluminum extrusion plant with a total investment of 640,000,000.00 (Six Hundred Forty Million birr).

Background of The Business

Generally, the company runs three business types.

1. Manufacturing of Glass Seal Gaskets, Handrails and Tankers                                                                                      The company has got three lines of production with very high capacity. Sador Aluminum Technics PLC is the sole company in having the first two mentioned production lines with a capacity of 9,000,000 meter (Nine Million meter) and 45,000 meter (Forty-Five Thousand Meter) respectively, which the company utilizing around 50%. Average Monthly transaction of this line is around Birr 1,250,000.00. The company has built two big ware houses on land of 2,500 sq.mt at Akaki Kaliti, and 2000 sq.mt at Adama that allows it to stock & manufacture studied & diversified products.
2. Import and distribution
   Under this line the company imports Aluminum Profiles, Accessories, Handrails, Aluminum panels and building glass. The company, for the mentioned items, is becoming one and the best market leader. Since Aluminum business is hot and requires high professions on products, Sador has got great acceptance from consultants, contractors and Technicians that let future successes. In the past months of 2008 & 2009 Eth. C the company has an average transaction of Birr 28,000,000.00 (Twenty-Eight Million) per month on this business line. This figure is forecasted to increase by 10% on each coming six months of the budget year.
3. Supply and Installation of Aluminum and Glass                                                                                                            With its high capacity production machinery and man power, the company under this business line had already completed more than 55 business and hotel building ranging from G+4 to G+12 and more than 140 real estate and resident buildings. There are also 7 university buildings and one sugar factory. Under this line the company has an average monthly transaction of Birr 2,500,000.00 in this present year.
