In 1985, David Blackmore and Joseph Hughes envisioned a group of highly skilled professionals with multi-discipline expertise teaming up to provide innovative solutions in the diverse field of the Geosciences. They along with Brian McCree have combined for over 45 years of Geotechnical Engineering experience which has helped this vision become a reality.  David Blackmore and Associates: Consistently provide clients with professional consulting services that are delivered on time and within budget. Participates in the ASFE Peer review process to strive for excellence. Maintains consistent high quality in all areas of expertise by continuing education and providing up-to-date supplemental training on a regular basis. Encourages feedback from clients and incorporates it into staff training. We have provided comprehensive geotechnical exploration and design services for a wide range of projects in the public and private sectors. DBA commonly works with Developers, Architects and Land Development Engineers to establish cost effective and highly functional solutions to subsurface problems and their impact to site development. Our years of experience and extensive knowledge of the geologic conditions across eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware allow for focused and accurate investigation findings and clearly communicated concise recommendations which have withstood the test of time.  Our Construction Quality Control Service is dedicated to providing quality test results and thorough and accurate documentation. Once the site design is completed and the project is under construction our Field Quality Control Service is an effective means of assuring that site development recommendations are being properly and effectively implemented. In the interest of maintain high quality laboratory test results DBA’s in house construction materials testing laboratory is enrolled in the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory’s (CCRL) Inspection Program and participates in the CCRL biannual Laboratory Proficiency Program.
