Weld Plus

Weld Plus opened its doors in Cincinnati, Ohio and began serving customers in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana.  Founded in 1991 by Jack Schroeder and Paul Rensing operating out of the basement of Jacks home, Weld Plus set out to sell, rent, service and refurbish new and used welding equipment. Jack and Paul offered “same day delivery” of wire and supplies to their customers. This meant hand delivering day or night to keep their promise and win the loyalty of their customers, most of whom are still with us today!  Throughout the years Weld Plus has grown and expanded. In 2001, after 10 years in business and three locations later, a new 44,000 square foot warehouse and office building was built along the banks of the Ohio River where we continue to serve customers throughout the United States as well as internationally. Our continued success can be attributed to the loyalty of our customers as well as our dedicated staff.  Weld Plus has one of the largest inventories of new and used welding equipment and machinery in the country. In addition to stocking equipment and machinery, Weld Plus integrates complete welding systems based on the needs of our customers.
