Patriot began its business in 2006 with the acquisition of Stanhelm Mfg. assets. Stanhelm was established 60 years earlier in Bristol, Connecticut and served the metal stamping, flat spring, and progressive die needs of the business community. Since 2006, Patriot has expanded through internal growth and by asset acquisitions of:  BES Designs in 2010 - helping us develop greater presence in fourslide spring industry; The Waterjet segment of Nutmeg Tool in 2012 - which opened new opportunities for us to develop/use the waterjet in serving customers; Quality Components in 2013 - expanding still further our fourslide spring presence and helpimg us develop new capabilities in the computerized spring and torsion spring industry.
