Ken-Bar Tool & Engineering was founded in 1957.   We are a full service machine shop with in house design services.  Here at Ken-Bar Tool & Engineering we use our experience, and a desire to produce a quality product, to meet or exceed our customer’s requirements.  We do all of this while maintaining a timeliness that accommodates our customer’s needs.  Being able to get the product to our customers is a vital part of our business.  To accommodate this we are strategically located in Muncie, Indiana near major highways to easily transport out product directly to your door.  We are also located approximately 1 hour N.E. of the Indianapolis International Airport for all other transportation needs.  This creates a rapid turn around time from concept to finished product.  At Ken-Bar Tool & Engineering you will find a full service tool shop with a variety of equipment to fit your tooling needs.  Lathes, mills, jig grinders, grinding machines, CNC machines, wire EDM and water jet capabilities.  In the process of building, our gages are certified not once, but twice on our CMM inspection equipment.  In doing this we ensure the quality of the gages we build.  We also have an in house Engineering Department capable of handling all of your design needs.  Our design team utilizes the latest in computer software from AutoCAD/Inventor to CATIA.  We go the extra step to insure that the customer’s needs are satisfied, and our customers are some of the best in industry.
