Bright Metals Finishing

Our history starts with our Parents and Grandparents ( Bob Smith, Don Smith and Homer Smith pictured left).  Actually started in the 1920's by our Great Grandfather and his son, Homer.  The Company was Brookline Plating and was located on the Southeast side of Chicago at 6800 South Chicago Avenue.  Their main production was chrome plating bumpers and headlights.  Later in the 1940's,  Brookline Plating changed its' name to Brookline Industries and expanded their operations in Push and Pull Door Hardware.  They quickly became one of the leaders in the Door Hardware Industry and was also recognized as one of the largest Platers in the Chicagoland area.  Pete Lambros, stepson of Don Smith, started at Brookline in 1977 as an assistant and quickly became GM a short time later.  After Brookline was sold to Yale in the mid 1980's, Pete continued on as a consultant in the Metal Finishing Industry and is now GM of Bright Metals. He has 35 plus years of valuable expertise in the Plating and Anodizing field.  I, Randall Smith, son of Bob Smith, am the current President of Bright Metals.  I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and many years of sales and management experience.  Bright Metals has been in business since the mid 1900's servicing the Chicagoland area for many years.  We formed a new corporation in 2010, Bright Metals Finishing Corporation, and will continue to provide fast friendly service.
