In 1988, Andrew Strzalkowski established Round Ground Metals with the vision to become the premier manufacturer of precision tolerance round bars for critical applications. Since then, RGM has evolved from being a toll processor to a precision cold finishing specialty steel mill, specializing in close-tolerance round bar products.  The entrepreneurial spirit that Andrew brings to RGM has been the cornerstone on which we have grown. By the early 1990s, our hard work, commitment to quality, and keen customer focus helped us grow to the point where an expansion was needed.  In 1997, we broke ground on a new 40,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility in Hanover Park, IL. Over the next decade, the RGM Family kept grinding away, literally. We expanded our size range, material offerings, and manufacturing capabilities, leading us to expand our original facility to 80,000 square feet. Our dedicated people who embrace the opportunity to serve our customers have been the fuel for our growth.  Today, the RGM Family continues to have the desire and the commitment to personal and professional growth, building a better future for everyone. We now have 260,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing located in Hanover Park, IL. Additionally, we have inventory depots in Kent, WA; Houston, TX; and Riverside, CA.
