Our manufacturing facilities are located in Tyrone, Pennsylvania and Albia, Iowa. Our Automated Assembly Systems design and sales office is located in Pembroke, Massachusetts and we have a network of manufacturers' representatives throughout North America.  Chicago Rivet & Machine is the parent company of H & L Tool Company, Inc., which is located in Madison Heights, Michigan. H & L Tool is an ISO 9001:2008 registered leading manufacturer of products manufactured through precision turning and cold forming technology.

Chicago Rivet & Machine Co. has a proud history and tradition that began with its founding as a manufacturer of brake lining and harness rivets in 1920. We built our first rivet setting machine in 1925. Our most popular line of automatic riveters, the Model 912 was first developed in 1946. In fact, our first Model 912 that we built (pictured lower left) is still in operating condition today! We became a public company in 1930, with shares currently trading on the NYSE-MKT. We have been a pivotal supplier to industry for more than 80 years. During the Second World War, Chicago Rivet received commendations from the United States government for its efforts as a vital governmental supplier for fasteners used in US aircraft wings as well as other various munitions. Today, numerous Fortune 500 organizations in the automotive, appliance and electrical industries continue to confer awards and recognitions for our products and services.
