Kens Salvage Co.

310 Allanburg Rd., Thorold, Ontario, Canada | Paper Recycling

Established in 1951, Ken’s Salvage Company Limited has been successfully servicing the Niagara Region for 7 decades. Ken Jacob started the business at the age of 18, recycling newspapers. As he could see potential in scrap metal recycling, Ken would buy metals and sort them by hand, 7 days a week.  His work ethic was immeasurable. Ken, with the help of his wife, 3 daughters, committed secretary Cynthia and several employees continually grew the business until his passing in 2010. As Ken had wished, his son in law Dan and youngest daughter Carolyn took over, while continually working to expand the business.

Ken would be proud to know that the 3rd generation is involved in the business, carrying on his legacy with their millennial and technological concepts while still honouring the commitment to being a personalized, family run business where you can still speak to a live person on the phone. We pride ourselves on our “personalized” approach and services.

Customer satisfaction and old school morals are what have kept us in business for more than 60 years. We will proudly continue to exceed our clients’ expectations with honesty, integrity and of course, top prices.
