Bulling Metal Works, Inc. was founded in 1977 by Walter Bulling, Sr. Mr. Bulling, Sr. trained in Germany to become a Master Coppersmith and had over 50 years of experience in the chemical, food, dairy, and biotech industries, which proved invaluable as the business became recognized worldwide for its design capabilities and top-notch custom workmanship.  Today, the San Leandro-based company is led by Walter Bulling, Jr. Walter inherited his father’s innovative and industrious spirit, having expanded the business’s capabilities and customer base from stainless steel fabrication for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries to now include advanced manufacturing, including CNC punching and forming for the telecomm, construction, laboratory equipment, aerospace, laser cutting, auto and high tech industries.
