Bms Metal Spinning

I sold my job shop in 2006 and since then BMS Metal Spinning, Inc has become a combined consulting, training, programming business.I completed my apprenticeship at a precision job shop in the San Francisco Bay Area. After completing my apprenticeship I continued working there for a total of thirteen years. The precision job shop provided me with priceless experience as I was able to produce metal spun parts for many different industries. I was spinning many different materials of all shapes and sizes; thick and thin, big and small. It was here that I became an expert on heat spinning and close tolerance work.  From there I started a job shop of my own and successfully ran it for fifteen years. During this time I moved my shop and family to Jackson, California, USA. As a working owner for most of those fifteen years I was able to fine-tune my skills to become a better metal spinner while gaining more experience. This is where I gained hands on experience at building spin tooling both manually and on a CNC tool room lathe. My business was also able to purchase a new CNC/PNC machine. This is when I started gaining a multitude of experience in computerized metal spinning. The more I worked with this CNC/PNC metal spinning machine the more hooked I became with this type of metal spinning. While being a job shop we spun parts for many different industries ranging from cookware to aerospace. We spun and used many different materials from high temp nickle alloys to heat treatable aluminum alloys as well as red metals and others.
