Saureen Naik Desai graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) with a Dual Major in Business Finance Law and Marketing Management as well as a double minor in Global Business and Psychology. Saureen is fluent in Gujarati, Hindi and has oral and written proficiency in Spanish.Plastics has been embedded in Saureen since her childhood. While her father/mentor began Intercontinental Export-Import, Inc. (IEI) in 1987, Saureen began to take interest in the plastics industry at a very young age. Saureen began her professional career with IEI in 2005 and has been working her way to the top ever since by dominating in all aspects of the business including procurement, sales, logistics and accounting. Saureen went on her to way to start-up Green Loop Export, LLC (GLE) in 2011 while simultaneously expanding the export sales division for IEI. Saureen has a proven track record with year after year multimillion dollar net sales over a number of countries including China, Korea, Vietnam, India, Turkey, Canada and more. It is no wonder that her customers remain loyal with her to this day as she begins to expand her horizons in the import/export industry.Future plans for Saureen include development in mobile technology for trading, sustainability in the fashion world and luxury product development from PCR materials.
