Our company goes back to 1984 when Steve and Rene Troesh moved up to the Santa Maria Valley. In that same year they decided to start their own company 'Troesh Ready Mix.' In 1995, after opening two locations and employing over 100 individuals they wanted to expand their business, after doing some research they recognized the need for a regulated location to dump concrete & asphalt. In 2001, they started the corporation Troesh Recycling, Inc. and setup a portable recycling plant and started crushing concrete and asphalt. 

In 2012, the Troesh's made a decision that it was time for them to retire, so on December 31, 2012 they sold the business to their youngest daughter Debralee and son-in-law Elijah. Debralee has worked in the family business since 2003 after she graduate from college at the University of South Carolina. She started from the ground up in the company. She started by Filing Paperwork to Accounts Payable then moved on to Sales and Human Resources. She was able to learn every aspect of the company. In 2008, she became President of Troesh Recycling, Inc dba RoXsand and took control of all departments in the company. In June 2010, Debralee and Elijah would be welcoming their first child and while she was out on maturity leave, Elijah volunteered to help out at the company. While he was learning about the business, he did extensive research about recycling concrete and asphalt and learned about all the various products you could make from the material.

Over the last two years we were the only company in the area making RCA (recycled concrete aggregate) that could be used in concrete mixes, we also started to make a crushed rock (for under concrete slabs and for retaining walls) and manufactured sand (for under pavers). Elijah is constantly doing research, making sure we are staying in compliance with our materials and also talking to customers to make sure we are making products that the customers need and want. 

The Coleman's are keeping the company a family owned and operated business; with 2 employees' that have been with the Troesh family for over 20 years and 2 employees' that have been with RoXsand for over 8 years. We are a small, women owned business, and want to treat all our customers with the outmost respect and loyalty that the Troesh Family has brought to the central coast for almost 30 years.
