In 1989 Metal Works was a two-person backyard blacksmith shop making ornamental stairs and rails. From our first Caltrans contract to large-scale development projects, we’ve embraced growth opportunities with a “We can do that!” attitude. We do more than fabricate and erect steel. We provide customized steel solutions. When you work with Metal Works you’ll work one-on-one with a project manager, backed by a team of certified welders, as well as fitters, painters, estimators, engineers, and specialists from other manufacturing disciplines. Together, they offer a breadth of knowledge and skills that our customers refer to as “Steel Central.”  We offer full-service structural steel fabrication and employ certified welders who are tested in-house by our own American Welding Society-Certified Welding Inspectors. The miscellaneous and production welding operation offers a variety of services and products including Caltrans-compliant products and railing
