Diamond Z has experienced steady growth since its founding in 1989 and after joining forces in 2010 with structural steel and metal fabricating leader Rule Steel, we are recognized as the world's top manufacturer of industrial tub and horizontal grinders. These impressive machines are used in the recycling business to process stumps, logs, yard waste, tires, solid waste and C&D debris into sizes as small as one inch at unparalleled production rates.

In 1996, Diamond Z introduced the world's first and only totally enclosed tub grinder to maximize safety in sensitive environments. The enclosed grinder processes wood stumps, green waste, tires, and C&D at unparalleled production rates and is the best choice for operators in highly populated locations.

Diamond Z also designed the SWG 1600, the world's first and only on-site mobile solid waste grinder. The SWG 1600 is targeted exclusively to process municipal solid waste and C&D disposal at remarkable production rates of up to 300 tons per hour. Studies have concluded that this grinder benefits landfills and transfer stations by increasing net operating income, substantially increasing effective MSW & C&D compaction density, and providing small uniform material size for handling. The SWG 1600 is essential for any landfill that needs space.
