Since June 27th, 1997, Equus Metals’ primary business focus has been concentrated on the niche market of monumental stair systems and custom ornamental guardrail systems. Monumental stair systems are intended to be a focal point, designed to make a statement, to create interest. Many clients agree that in most instances, when a monumental stair and guardrail system are in the design, that the system be fabricated by a single source. These systems are scrutinized closely, and quality is of the utmost importance in completing the statement. Over the past several years, we have expanded our offerings to include custom sun-control systems, ornamental canopies, entry elements, ornate gates, and custom fabrications for several aspects of industry. Our relationships with structural steel fabricating companies have transformed and widened our business model.     Tulsa’s historic presence in the oil-field era has provided the area with engineering and welding schools, which has created a rich talent pool from which Equus Metals has for years drawn on to find the most talented fabricators for miles around.
