TRACC (Tire Recycling Atlantic Canada Corp.)

149 Industrial Park Rd, Minto, New Brunswick, Canada | Tire and Rubber Recycling

We've operated New Brunswick's province-wide scrap tire collection and recycling program since its inception in 1997. Recycled rubber products are clearly a major focus here at TRACC, but we also use premium quality post-industrial plastics for some of our production lines. Over two decades, TRACC has steadily grown and diversified to become the largest, most comprehensive recycling facility in Atlantic Canada.

Our province_wide resource recovery system operates year-round, collecting scrap tires from more than 800 local tire retail outlets in communities of every size. Depending on the season of the year, the volume of recyclable rubber generated across NB can vary considerably. But, on average, at least 2 tractor-trailer loads of scrap tires arrive at our factory gates every day. Bulk shipments of post-industrial (recycled) plastics for our Moderne Slate plant fuel production is the key component of TRACC's feedstock requirement.

Our production lines operate in two main buildings spread over 60 acres in the Minto Industrial Park, located 50 kilometers east of Fredericton in Central NB. A range of process operations are typically running at any given time in each 8 hour shift, depending on shipping requirements and seasonal scheduling. In addition to our Canadian headquarters in Minto, Moderne Slate roofing products are also manufactured in Albi, Michigan, to directly serve USA markets.
