Peter Ruddy, born and raised in the City of Timmins, began NES in 1995, to offer a much needed recycling program for businesses in the Timmins area. The business has grown from a fleet of one rear packer truck and 3 employees, to a thriving business of 12 employees, front loaders and roll off trucks, and are able to provide a number of waste collection and recycling options for both residential and commercial customers.

We are a member of  the Timmins Chamber of Commerce, we received the Nova Award in 2005 for Business of the Year Award, also were given the 1999 Supplier of the Year Award by Weyerhaeuser for excellence in recycling. NES is a proud corporate sponsor of the Timmins YMCA,  Timmins Special Olympics,  the Good Samaritan Inn ,  and the Timmins and South Porcupine Food Bank.   NES is also a supporter of the Timmins Get Clean Program.
