American Power Service originally opened in 1988 and our General Manager and Office Manager have been with the company for more than 20 years. This depth of experience allows us to provide our customers with unmatched knowledge and historical information.  Our shop staff are all highly trained machinists with an average of more than 20 years of machining experience each. All we machine is Babbitt, so everyone is an expert in our field.  Our Sales Representative is a former Babbitt bearing field engineer. He understands our customer’s needs and their language, saving valuable customer time and ensuring accurate information.  Our owner is an engineer by training, so he understands the demands of the high speed rotating machine industry and operates the business from a “Customer First” perspective.
