A & T Sheet Metal

A&T heating was started in 1965 by L. Eugene Taylor. In 1967 a combination office and shop building was built in Bountiful, Utah and the business is still located in the same location with additional office and shop space added.   In 1995 L. Eugene Taylor was contemplating retirement and in 1996 Blair T. Halverson made an offer for the purchase of A&T Heating and the offer was accepted. A&T Heating was then reorganized and became A&T Heating & Sheet Metal, Inc.   Blair T. Halverson purchased the building formerly used by A&T Heating totaling 12,000 square feet and has since added another 8,600 feet totaling 20,600 square feet.  This building has an office staff up front and a fabrication shop in the back. The shop is equipped with the latest computerized fabrication equipment. The shop capacity is adequate to supply ductwork and fittings necessary to meet any finishing schedule. At the present time the company has 40-45 employees.   A&T Sheet Metal performs Ninety-five percent of our work. This includes sheet metal fabrication and installation, heating and air-conditioning installation and general sheet metal installation.  The remaining 5% of our work is subcontracted out.  This includes temperature control work, test & balancing and adjustment. The majority of our work is commercial and industrial fabrication and installation. We, on occasion or by special request, do some residential work.  We also offer the ability to do design build projects with our staff of engineering and drafting personnel.   The function of A&T Sheet Metal is to fabricate sheet metal ductwork in our shop and deliver it to the project sites where our sheet metal installers, install both the ductwork and the equipment.  The equipment may vary on each job such as furnaces, Rooftop units, Air-conditioning units, fan coil units, etc. But in essence, we install both heating and air-conditioning equipment specified by the engineer for each project.    A&T Sheet Metal has completed all projects that it has been awarded.  It is not involved, nor has it ever been involved, with any claims, disputes, or litigation.  A&T is proud of our quality of work and the quality of the product we fabricate.
