TCR-INTEGRATED STAMPING SYSTEMS
1431 2nd St. N., Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, United States | Steel/Iron
In 1986, Charles Wenzel started Co-op Sales, a company geared toward safety equipment. The business soon expanded when the company began representing stamping press manufactures as well as suppliers for machine controls and coil processing equipment. A steadily growing sales volume attracted world-class equipment lines like AIDA, Coe and Link Systems.
“With each individual company we represented, we gained in-depth engineering knowledge combined with field experience in how to integrate multiple pieces of equipment,” said Todd Wenzel. “We soon discovered the value of combining that engineering know how with our integration capabilities to create world class turnkey production systems. At first, we sold machines. Now we sell production systems. In addition to providing training, installation and integration, we engineer the most profitable solutions - then make sure they produce!”
In 1990 the company changed its name to TCR Integrated Stamping Systems. Specializing in press controls, Todd’s field experience included the capability to provide advanced operator training as well as trouble shooting techniques. Chuck O’Connor soon followed bringing in-depth knowledge of electronics and implementation of manufacturing system components.
Today, TCR continues to break new ground as a turnkey provider and systems integrator for the metal forming industry - whether a company needs to improve existing equipment or requires an entire new production system.
Helping customers make the right equipment and technology choices is only part of the unique package that sets TCR apart from other capital equipment providers. By first understanding its customer’s current production commitments and future production needs the TCR team, which has recently expanded, is able to provide the most profitable stamping system solution. TCR technicians then install and integrate the equipment, conduct on-site training in operation and safety procedures and provide support long after the equipment is installed.
By partnering with its customers, TCR develops long-term relationships. Its customers know TCR is constantly working to bring them new methods and equipment capable of solving their manufacturing challenges. Flexible and innovative, TCR’s high quality standards and select team of associates combine to provide manufacturers with the integrated solutions they need today for the marketplace of tomorrow.
