CEP Technologies Corporation is an engineering based ISO/TS 16949:2009 certified, high precision, high volume, progressive metal stamping company with global capabilities. For 50 years, CEP has been a family owned and operated customer driven manufacturer that continually evolves its methods and systems to adapt to its market place in order to achieve total customer satisfaction.

In 1960, Mr. Henry G. Kaufmann founded Contact Electro Parts on 110 East 22nd Street in Manhattan, NY. The company manufactured custom precision metal stampings in order to supply the flourishing regional industrial marketplace. In 1970, the company moved to Buena Vista Avenue in Yonkers, NY and switched gears by engineering electrical connectors and customized stampings for the increasing manufacturing demands of the New York Hudson Valley Region. To meet increasing demand, Mr. Kaufman purchased our current 45,000 square foot facility on Saw Mill River Road in Yonkers, NY in 1980.

By 1984, CEP was a well-known source for customized metal stampings. It was this success that allowed CEP to identify an opportunity in the automotive ignition harness industry. This opportunity gave way to a creation of CEP's standard product line which is automotive ignition terminals.

In 1996, Kenneth W. Kaufmann, Sr. became sole owner of Contact Electro Parts and created CEP Technologies Corporation. Ken created a vision for CEP that propelled it from a small family run business into a modern manufacturing corporation whose customers include best in class global manufacturing companies. The key to his vision was investing in CEP's employees. It was vital to have an engineering based team that gave our customers the confidence that CEP has the technical operational skill not only to design progressive metal stampings but also to consistently manufacturer them with a low PPM rate and deliver them on-time. Since then, CEP has grown into a major source for customized metal stampings and the leading manufacturer of automotive ignition terminals.

In 2006, CEP expanded its global horizons by opening CEP Technologies (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. in the People's Republic of China. The facility is a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise (WOFE) that CEP has built from the ground up. Its purpose is to service the internal demands of China and its growing international market place. We also offer added services such as tapping, resistance welding and simple assemblies. CEP Chengdu has been ISO/TS 16949:2009 certified since 2009.

After 50 years, CEP has grown with a diverse customer base to serve telecommunications, automotive OEM and aftermarket, semiconductor, circuit and surge protection, computer and switch industries.
