Industrial Cryogenic Technologies, LLC (ICT) was established to market, sell and service cryogenic products, including the ICEFLY® cryogen delivery system under license from Air Products, to the industrial marketplace for both product development and commercial operations. ICT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Research Systems (ARS) and collocated at their 17,000-sq. ft. headquarters in Macungie, PA. ARS was founded in 1986 and has grown to become a world-class manufacturer and supplier of cryogenic equipment. With engineering and manufacturing skills in electronics, welding, controls, design, assembly, and testing down to 4°K, ARS is able to provide engineering and manufacturing support for ICT, as well as global sales and service capabilities.

To build on Air Products’ 15+ years of product design engineering and applications experience applying the ICEFLY® cryogen delivery technology as an alternative to the use of coolants in the field of metals machining, ARS president Ravi Bains has retained Richard “Rick” Knopf to lead Business Development at ICT. As cofounder and former owner of Midatlantic CNC located in Lebanon, NJ, Rick served as Vice President, Engineering, Sales and Service since 1987. Prior to growing the MidAtlantic business in the US, Rick was employed by Maruka USA in Pine Brook, NJ as Sales and Service Manager for Maruka’s CNC machine tool products. During the course of his 33 years in the machine tool industry, Rick developed extensive experience with many machine tool builders, tooling companies, third party accessory suppliers and applications development with end users. With the support of Air Products’ extensive cryogenic machining applications expertise with numerous materials, Rick is well qualified to discuss the potential benefits of the ICEFLY® cryogen delivery system for your machining needs.
