Upper Story Design

We approach construction as a collaboration with clients, designers, consultants and contractors. Our attention to detail comes from years of working for clients who have extremely high expectations regarding precision architectural detail. We strive to merge the traditions of old world craftsmanship with modern building concepts and technologies, giving each client a singular experience within the sphere of custom metalwork. From consultation, design and fabrication, all the way to delivery and installation, we handle every facet of a project, with superior customer service.  While our primary focus is metal fabrication, such as steel, bronze, stainless steel, copper and brass, we enjoy collaborating with other mediums, such as glass, concrete and wood. We recognize that great design intersects with the mastery of material and process.  Located in San Luis Obispo County, we serve clients from the San Francisco Bay Area to Los Angeles, including the Central Coast and Santa Barbara.  Upper Story Design is fully licensed and bonded to perform work in the state of California, in both residential and commercial sectors.
