Hollenbaughs Trash & Recycling LLC

In 2011 Brad Hollenbaugh began Hollenbaugh’s Trash & Recycling, LLC (HTR). In May 2012 HTR purchased a wood recycling business then known as Miller’s Wood Recycling in Lewistown, PA. In 2014, our Wood Recycling site at 65 Industrial Park Road in Lewistown was permitted through DEP to accept plywood, particleboard, and any other C& D wood waste. HTR operates roll off trucks and walking floor trailers from this location. We provide ground wood waste to power plants to burn for fuel and to gas wells for solidification of drill mud. The wood is also used in silt sock for erosion control. In 2016 we purchased JJ Recycling & Garbage from Brad’s parents. JJ Recycling was located in Huntingdon for 30 years buying scrap metal, hauling garbage, and providing recycling services to Huntingdon Borough. We have combined all the businesses into one brand, Hollenbaugh’s Trash & Recycling, LLC. We provide garbage collection in Huntingdon County and Mifflin County. HTR's wood recycling facility in Lewistown and our scrap metal yard in Huntingdon. We also provide roll off containers to Huntingdon, Mifflin, Blair, Centre, Juniata, Bedford, Fulton, Clearfield, Snyder, and Union Counties. In 2017 HTR was awarded the Huntingdon Borough recycling contract which JJ Recycling had from 1991-2011. HTR also sells firewood and colored mulch at our location in Huntingdon. We hope to start providing garbage collection in Blair County by the end of the year.
