Junior Steel Co

134 West , 168th Street , Gardena, California, United States | Steel/Iron

Since 1948 contractors have counted on Junior Steel to get the job done right by providing them with quality steel, safely installed and on schedule. We have our own fabrication facilities that use state-of-the-art technology and equipment, as well as our own expert erection crews. This enables us to control pricing, scheduling and accuracy to make sure that each job gets done on time, and right on the money.  In 1996 Paul Schifino bought Junior Steel and relocated it to Anvil Steel’s facilities in Gardena, California. Since then, Junior Steel has grown to become one of the largest steel employers in Southern California, capable of expertly fabricating and erecting big steel projects. The company has also expanded to include a 100,000 square foot work area under 15 bridge cranes, with a capacity of over 300 tons per week – and we did it all with the dedicated support of our key management team, and 250 hardworking AISC trained and certified employees.  Junior Steel’s work has played a big part in creating the modern Southern California landscape. For instance, in 1958 former owner Glen Bustrum developed the famous California Web Beam, which can still be seen all over Disneyland. Other important Junior Steel projects include the Del Amo Mall, Century City Mall, Irvine Medical Center and Riverside Metro. With our long history of solid growth, successful projects and safe workplaces, Junior Steel is Southern California’s preferred provider among owners and contractors for big steel fabrication and erection jobs. Contact Junior Steel to deliver for you − from pre-construction design-build services to fabrication to erection.
