Dale's Recycling was built on honesty, integrity, hard work and dedication.  Owner and founder, Dale Nelson Sr., has always been passionate about metal recycling and racing.

As a sibling of eighteen, hard work was instilled in Dale Nelson.  The Nelson family began recycling to supplement their income through the fall and winter months after crops were harvested.  From a young age, he recognized the value and potential of the metal recycling industry.  In his spare time as a child, Dale collected scrap metals and loaded them in his mother's car.  Then his mother would take his scrap metals to the recycling plant while he was in school.  After graduation, Dale left technical school to pursue opening his own recycling business.

In business since 1983, Dale Nelson has always been a visionary, focused on results with a can-do spirit.  Not only a businessman, but a family man as well.  Dale has raised two sons, Dale Jr. and Cody, in and around metal recycling.  Today, both sons have joined him, strengthening their father's company, and are key in day-to-day operations.  Dale's hard work, dedication, and hands-on approach to management has earned the respect of not only his children, employees, and the community, but also his associates in the industry.  From humble beginnings, Dale's Recycling has grown exponentially to employ over forty people, expanded operations to three locations, and continues to invest in the future through unwavering, continuous improvement, consistent quality, and customer focus.  Dale's Recycling has become West Tennessee's recycler of choice for the general public and industries alike.  â€‹â€‹
