The company was founded by Don Pfeil, Sr. in 1956 as a small family-operated welding company in south St. Louis.  Today, AFWC is a privately held corporation whose management team includes both 2nd and 3rd generation family members as well as others working to keep this vision alive. AFWC is a full service fabricator that has the knowledge and passion necessary to be a valued construction partner.
