BE's Coins & More is a full service coin dealer in Hiawatha, Iowa.  BE's Coins will handle your estate appraisals, buy and sell gold and silver, repair broken jewelry, and allow you to browse, buy and sell coins.  ​  Coins and currency are interesting to see and handle, but it’s the history behind the money that got shop owner, Brian E. Fanton, crazy about currency. This isn’t just a hobby, he’s a rare expert on coins, bills and tokens from all over the world.     Brian got hooked on coins early. He was a small boy when his grandfather introduced him to his first coin collector’s book, but it wasn’t just the hobby of finding and collecting coins that drew him in. His love for coins grew from a simple hobby to a successful shop that’s been in Hiawatha since 1969. BE’s Coins is a full service shop offering estate appraisals, coin grading submission services, Boy Scout Merit badge and speaker programs, and is an ANA (American Numismatic Association) member dealers; they follow a code of ethics for honest and reliable service.  ​  Fanton has been a coin collector for more than 55 years and a full-time coin dealer since 1999. A certified coin grader, he began teaching introductory and grading courses at the ANA Summer Seminar in 1995 and has taught almost every year since. Dedicated to the ANA’s educational mission and outreach programs, Fanton makes numismatic presentations to more than 1,000 students annually.
